Biography
Robert Hamwey is the Manager of UNCTAD’s National Green Export Review Programme which has been implemented in 10 countries to help them enhance production and export levels of green goods and services.
Over the past 18 years at UNCTAD he has worked on numerous issues including trade in services, trade analysis and a wide range of trade and environment issues. Prior to this he worked as an Associate Professor at the International Academy of the Environment in Geneva and the University of Aleppo in Syria. Robert has a PhD in physics from Dartmouth College in New Hampshire.
