Biography

Michelle Mouracade is Alfanar’s Country Director for Lebanon. Michelle has 20 years of experience in strategy, HR and organisational consulting across several sectors in the US, Europe and 7 locations in Asia. Her experience covers a wide range of industries and functional expertise, from banking to internet start-ups and from business development to strategic reviews. Michelle is also a very passionate executive coach, certified by HEC France.
In 2016, Michelle joined Alfanar to fulfill a strong desire to return to her homeland after 27 years abroad and to make a more meaningful contribution to society by leveraging her private sector experience in the social investment sector. Alfanar is the first venture philanthropy organisation in the Arab world that provides funding, management support, training and mentorship to social enterprises.
