Biography

Dr. David Asaf is a SwitchMed focal point on behalf of the Israeli Ministry of Economy and Industry. Dr. Asaf serves as the Head of the environment division and head of the Israel national physics institute in Israel. In this role, David leads and coordinates the aspects of environment and sustainable development in all aspects of industry, handles international environmental conventions, participates in local legislation stemming from environmental requirements, established environmental subsidies  tools for the Industry and ensures that the various aid agencies of the Ministry take into account environmental considerations. David holds a PhD in Environmental sciences; an MSc; and a BSc in Chemistry and environmental sciences from the Hebrew  University.
