Biography
Chadi Faraj is the Co-founder of Bus Map project, an initiative seeking to map, promote and improve public transport in Lebanon.
Their mission is to mobilize a community of bus users that is well-informed and well-connected, working with others – producers, consumers and decision-makers – for the benefit of all.
He has been a bus rider from over 10 years. He is a system and networks engineer with 7 years experience in web development and mobile Apps. An Activist and volunteer for the public transportation and human rights issues. He is also working on Initiating Riders’ Rights NGO and as a social entrepreneur for a startup called Smarter Buses that will integrate low-cost technology with the informal transportation system, which won the URB hackathon in 2018.
He is an active member of the couchsurfing group in Lebanon, he enjoys playing chess and long walks.
